Demineralised water, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid, stearic acid, cetocetyl alcohol, emulsifying wax, shea butter, allantoin, castor oil, grapeseed oil, isopropyl myristate, glycerine, vee gum, aloe vera extract, liquorice extract, d-panthenol, vitamin E, phenoxyethanol.

Ingredients You'll Need
1. Body Lotion Base – The foundation for your lotion.
2. Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils (optional) – For fragrance and added skin benefits (like lavender, vanilla, or eucalyptus).
3. Active Ingredients (optional) – For specific skin concerns, such as vitamin E, niacinamide, or hyaluronic acid.
4. Botanical Extracts (optional) – Such as aloe vera, chamomile, or green tea extract for additional soothing and nourishing properties.
Instructions
1. Measure the Body Lotion Base
• Decide on the amount of lotion you want to create (e.g., 100g, 200g).
• Place the base into a clean mixing bowl or container.
2. Add Essential or Fragrance Oils (Optional)
• Add essential or fragrance oils for scent, generally about 1-2 drops per 100g of lotion base.
• Be careful with essential oils; a little goes a long way, and some oils can cause sensitivity if overused.
3. Incorporate Active Ingredients (Optional)
• Add any desired actives (1-5% of the total weight is typical) based on their recommended usage.
• Stir thoroughly to ensure the actives are evenly distributed within the base.
4. Add Botanical Extracts (Optional)
• For an extra nourishing effect, add botanical extracts. Use around 1-3% of the total weight of the lotion base.
• Mix well until you achieve a smooth, uniform consistency.
5. Blend and Test Texture
• Mix all ingredients well, checking that the texture remains smooth and even.
• Test a small amount on your skin to check scent and consistency.
6. Transfer to Storage Container
• Once thoroughly mixed, pour the finished lotion into a clean, sterilized container with a lid.
• Label the container with details about ingredients, date, and any other notes.
7. Store and Use
• Keep the lotion in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Use within 3-6 months, depending on the added ingredients’ stability.
This process lets you create a personalized, high-quality body lotion tailored to specific skin needs and preferences.
