Solubility:

Grapeseed oil is oil-soluble, which means it should be added to the oil phase of your formulation if you're creating an emulsion (cream, lotion).

For water-based formulations, use an emulsifier to incorporate it effectively.

pH Range:

Grapeseed oil is stable in a wide pH range and can be used in products with a pH of 4.5 to 7. This makes it compatible with most skincare and haircare formulations.

Temperature Sensitivity:

Grapeseed oil is heat-stable up to 70°C. If you're using it in a heat-sensitive formulation, such as a face cream or body lotion, it's best to add it during the cool-down phase (below 40°C) to preserve its beneficial compounds, such as vitamin E and polyphenols.

Compatibility:

Grapeseed oil is compatible with a wide range of ingredients, including other carrier oils (like jojoba oil, almond oil, or argan oil), essential oils, humectants (like glycerin and hyaluronic acid), and active ingredients.

It works well in formulations with antioxidants, such as vitamin E and green tea extract, enhancing the overall anti-aging and protective effects of the product.
